The new Samsung S5230, a thin touch phone with mobile widgets

The new Samsung S5230 is a super-thin cell phone that measures only half inch in thickness or 11.9mm and a bright 3-inch WQVGA (240×400 pixels) resolution touchscreen display in its package. It offers Samsung’s finger-friendly TouchWiz user interface with mobile widgets and a user-customizable homescreen that users will find great for navigation manages. It has 3 megapixel camera/camcorder with Smile Shot technology. The phone is loaded with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support as well as a microSD card slot for extra storage. It will be available in France and other European countries in April 2009. However, pricing details have not been released.
